Spokesperson for Jamat-ud-Dawa, a member of the Defense of Pakistan Council Yahya Mujahid told the Express Tribune that Malik Ishaq was present on stage at the Defense of Pakistan Council rally in Multan. Mujahid contradicted General (retd) Hamid Gul's statement in a television interview where he he denied Ishaq's presence at the Multan rally.
